I thought it took the surface simplicity that I loved so much and buried beneath a bunch of complications and hassles to set up individual patterns and tracks in a way that limits a lot of free thinking during the arrangements of your patterns.That or it takes a ridiculous amount of time to set that free thinking up, either way, its a big pain.One really cool thing though, is the new vst plugin "pitcher" which looks more or less like a very simplified autotune, however, what's really cool is that in the tutorial, it tells you exactly how to set it up through midi signal to harmonize the tuned notes to a single wave, manipulating that wave to the notes on the keyboard, but still putting through the autotuned sound, basically giving you two outputs, the processed original, and then the further processed midi input notes.In layman's terms, it can make two voices out of one and pitch correct the original at the same time.My question is this: Can this be done with real (Antares) Autotune? The first thing to do is to import the vocal sample to FL Studio Playlist.I recently downloaded the demo of FL Studio 10. Newtone allows you to manually adjust each individual note.From what I've used Newtone and Pitcher for, they are both excellent plugins, however I lack confidence in my voice and, more importantly, lyrics, and so I rarely ever record them. Its not the most accurate thing ever, and thus can make some very unnatural sounding vocals (with them bieng either too high or too low) Thankfully, where pitcher fails, newtone succeeds. It does however get a little confused when you put a delay on top of the vocals, and then add autotune,and in addition to that, the harmonizer can function a little strangely.
